It has come to my attention that there are a few new movies that is giving some of these programs a problem. Some of these movies include but are not limited to:

The Cave
The Fog
War of the Worlds

Here's how it was explained to me:
Each of these movies are protected with Sony's Arccos protection. It's not really a protection at all, just creative authoring of the DVD. They put bad sectors on the DVD and provide information in the IFO files (navigational files) for the DVD player to skip over them. Therefore when copying the movie the program will freeze up or the copied DVD will skip when played back.

Here's the fix:
For those of you who have 1Click DVD Copy, you know that in order to copy css encrypted and copyright dvds it is necessary to download a dvd decrypter. What makes this decrypter so nice is that it only takes about 2 minutes to download and once downloaded, it automatically integrates itself into the program, becoming part of the 1ClickDVDCopy program itself. This is a one time only download, you never have to do it again. This then enables 1ClickDVDCopy to copy any dvd, including css encrypted and copyright dvds.

There is another DVD Decrypter called "AnyDVD" that works just like DVD43 in the fact that once downloaded, it automatically integrates itself into the program, becoming part of the 1ClickDVDCopy program itself. The only thing is that it isn't free like DVD43, you can however try it out for 21 days before you have to purchase it. The good thing about AnyDVD is that once you purchase it you are always entitled to free upgrades - and they are continually upgrading it keeping it the best dvd decrypter on the market. As a matter of fact, AnyDVD stated they had already taken care of the new encryption before it came out! Impressive!

I feel that I wouldn't be serving you correctly if I didn't tell you about this other DVD Decrypter which is in fact called "DVDDecrypter". DVDDecrypter is free but is difficult to use because it doesn't become part of the dvd copying program like AnyDVD and DVD43. With DVDDecrypter you have to follow instructions to rip the dvd to your hard drive and then from there you can use 1Click DVD Copy to burn the files to DVD. This is just too difficult for many people and more time consuming. Anyway, I felt I needed to offer you all of the options available to you.

I hope you find this information helpful and if you have any suggestions or questions feel free to write me anytime at matt@trafficmatt.com.
